Golf Handicapping
The purpose of golf handicapping is to allow players of varying skill sets to play against each other fairly, that is, on equal terms. Official handicaps are usually determined by golf clubs under license from the national golf association of a particular country. With several systems in place, the two most well known are the U.S. and U.K. scoring. Helping golf clubs keep track of individual member scores under the U.S. or U.K. guidelines is where Golf Score Recorder Data Pro and Society Manager really outdistance the competition. Ours is not an online service or web-based program. Instead, you buy the software and install it on your own PC or Macintosh. Even though handicaps are only used in amateur golf, we are very proud that professional players also enjoy using our products to track their statistics. Our Help Wizards and Tutorials assist you with every step of using the software, from entering the initial data, to calculating handicaps, to setting up your Course and Player Libraries. When you no longer need the Wizards and Tutorials, you can turn them off without difficulty. Do contact us at GolfScoreRecorder@hbs-online.com, however, with any questions you may have. Ordering our software means a one-time purchase with no future licensing fees, yet we are here for you, should you require technical assistance. We offer both programs as a download or on CD-ROMs. (Prices are stated on our website in US dollars, UK Sterling, and in Euros.) The Combo package, if you desire it, provides additional value. Visit the Golf Score Recorder Website for more information.
