Golf Handicapping

The purpose of golf handicapping is to allow players of varying skill sets to play against each other fairly, that is, on equal terms. Official handicaps are usually determined by golf clubs under license from the national golf association of a particular country. With several systems in place, the two most well known are the U.S. and U.K. scoring.
