Entering the scores of society members can often be a laborious and long-winded
task; not with Society Manager. Simply select the player whose score you
wish to enter, then enter their gross score (and stableford score, if
applicable).
What Happens Next...
If you're entering a medal-based round, the system will examine the player's
handicap index/course handicap and automatically calculate each player's nett
score. At the same time, the system will use official handicapping
guidelines to calculate each player's new handicap based on their score.
This new handicap (assuming it changes) will be stored against the
player (to be applied to the next round they are involved
with). In essence, maintaining an entire society can be
achieved via a few key strokes per player.
Once you've entered all player scores, the system will display the Rounds
Reviewer. This is a courtesy feature which gives you the chance
to adjust any player scores before exiting the entry process.
In fact, the Rounds Reviewer can be used to make amendments to historical
rounds. And yes, if you make a change, the system will recaclulate the
player handicap (which doesn't mean to say it WILL change).
